Here are the criteria for the Edinburgh law scholarships in the UK 2022:
- Candidates must plan to begin their first year of full-time or part-time PhD studies at the Edinburgh Law School in the academic year 2021/22. (September 2022 or January 2023 entry).
- Candidates from the United Kingdom and around the world are welcome to apply.
- Please note that part-time program is not available to international students.
- Candidates must meet our usual minimum entry requirements to be considered for these scholarships. Successful candidates typically exceed these expectations, having received the highest classification in at least one of their degrees and submitting a compelling research proposal that is closely aligned with School research.
- The university will consider the following factors when making our decisions:
- Take into account the applicant’s academic achievements, research plan, and research potential, as well as the level of support supplied by references.
- Factors such as financial status and nationality/citizenship will not be taken into account.
- When the results of the application procedure are disclosed, successful applicants will be expected to accept the offer without hesitation.
- Candidates who have already received a financial sponsorship offer from another source will be ineligible.
