Fully Funded Global Interns Program 2021, South Korea

Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology is offering a Global Interns Program for international students who want to explore research environment and opportunities. This internship program is an opportunity to experience how research is conducted on an international level by joining the lab for 8 weeks in the summer. Interns will receive mentoring and training from the labs’ professors. It will help you with career and practical exposure and help you decide whether you want to pursue further studies at GIST, as they also offer scholarships for international students.

The internship program will be held in the summers at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology for eight weeks. There is no requirement of IELTS/TOEFL and there is no application fee. Students will be able to correlate education and practical research, and work as a team and collaborate with students from different backgrounds.

Students in undergraduate (senior year) or enrolled in the Master’s program can apply for the GIP Internship program. The internship is fully funded, covering almost all the academic expenses, including half airfare to travel to South Korea. Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology is research-oriented public university and one of the leading top Science and Technology Institute in South Korea.

Eligibility Criteria :

International students (meeting the criteria) from all around the world can apply for this summer internship.

The applicants must be in the undergraduate program’s senior year or enrolled in the Master’s program.

Applicants must have a GPA minimum of 3.0 or above.

Applicants for the internship program must be in good health.
