for 3 years (duration of employment according to WissZeitVG) at the professorship for business administration, in particular marketing, from April 1st, 2021 , with 75% of the regular weekly working time and the goal of own scientific further qualification (usually doctorate).
Tasks: As part of a young team, you will be involved in the various tasks of the administration of the professorship and in research and teaching. In teaching, you will be involved in the conception and organization of lectures, exercises and seminars at the Bachelor and Master’s level and you will also hold your own events. Research tasks include, in particular, working on (international) publications and third-party funded projects (including applications for them). The research of the professorship is quantitative-empirical and focuses in particular on approaches to relationship marketing with applications in the field of technology and service marketing. Your actual focus is on teaching and teaching administration, but you will also be involved in the other areas.
Requirements: excellent scientific university degree (master’s or diploma course) in the field of business administration (if possible with a focus on marketing) or shortly before the successful completion. Because of the quantitative-empirical orientation of the professorship, a very good knowledge of statistics (especially multivariate analysis methods) is a prerequisite, including their application in SPSS. You also have a very good command of English and German and a keen interest in scientific issues in marketing.
