There is no restriction of nationalities; applicants from any country can apply.

Applicants must have obtained a first-class UK degree or equivalent degree.

The applicants must have achieved a distinction in their master’s qualification; if they are yet to receive a degree, they must provide high-performance evidence that will lead them to distinction.

The applicants must contact a supervisor at Imperial College London before applying for the scholarship. Currently, registered students are not eligible for this scholarship; the presidents’ PhD Scholarship program is only for new applicants.

Benefits :

The successful candidates of the president’s PhD scholarship program will receive the following support for the duration of the PhD program (3 and a half year):

The scholarship will provide funding for tuition fees

£21,600 as stipend per year to support the living cost of candidate

£2,000 per annum for 3 years as consumable funds.

Other details :

The applicants must submit a personal statement of approx. 1000 words and include your previous research and academic achievements and also describe your future research project that you planned. If the statement exceeds 2 pages, the application might get rejected.
